This course covered a broad range of subjects
including project management (both general and
relating directly to software development), project
development of multimedia projects, Human Computer
Interaction [HCI], Java programming, multimedia
design and theory for the Internet and technology
issues relating to multimedia development and
management.
Dissertation
topic: Exploring multimedia to enhance tonal language
learning
The aims of the project were to investigate the
problems experienced by individuals trying to
learn a tonal language and to establish whether
multimedia could be used to overcome those difficulties.
The project consisted of the development of a
multimedia application and a report detailing
background research undertaken, the development
process and testing of the application, results
and conclusions.

This College Diploma provided a base for people
entering the world of print publishing and included
the following subjects: publishing, editing, design,
marketing, print production (origination, printing,
binding and estimating), material science, French,
history, English language, literature, law and
sociology.
